VitaDelta Cyber Island is an internal system for use by authorized officers and members of VitaDelta, a chapter of Brothers Across Nigeria International (BANI). It is available at app.vitadelta.org and, during the current domain transition, at finance.vitadelta.org - both addresses serve the same system. It is not a public service, and this policy applies only to individuals VitaDelta's leadership has already authorized to use it.
The system collects and stores full census information provided to the organization. These include both personal and membership information.
The association applies the principle of least privilege: only officers who need access to personal information to carry out their specific duties are granted it. Access to another member's personal information is logged - every time someone reveals it, the system records who viewed it, whose record it was, and when.
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and encrypted at rest on our hosting infrastructure, using industry-standard encryption. Your data is stored securely on our servers, with a nightly encrypted backup, and is not sold, rented, or shared with any third party outside VitaDelta's own administration, except where required by law.
Sign-in uses Google's or Yahoo's own sign-in service. We only ever receive your email address, name, and whether your email is verified - we do not receive your password, contacts, calendar, files, or anything else from your Google or Yahoo account. Signing in this way does not, by itself, grant access to anything: the email must already match an account an officer has set up for you, or sign-in is refused.
The system does not currently offer a self-service way to correct your record or request its deletion. Corrections to your record are made by an authorized officer. Removing a member from the active roster is a soft removal - their historical financial and membership records are retained, not deleted, since they remain part of the association's financial and membership history.
